Ezo is sometimes used to refer directly to Esoteric Chat, however almost always pertains to the forum as a [[literal forum]] where people communicate philosophical virtues, rather than as a website. Walter has previously stated that the website is simply one of many ways to interact with Ezo, reasoning that it exerts a force upon all things within nature.

The scientific accuracy of this belief system was once criticized heavily by [[Dwight Schrute]], among others.
