==Moderation==

Even if they were somehow compelled to defend their decision, they could just point to the age-old scapegoat of hate speech or some other shit like that.

Despite this, there are a gross number of communities on Discord which are either in violation of that very same policy or may go so far as to break the law, with some of them being partnered with Discord. There is, and always has been, a huge problem with grooming children on this app.

It now looks like Discord servers are getting deleted ''and'' all the members of that server in turn banned from the platform as well. This, coupled with the downgrades being made to the user interface, indicate that Discord probably won't be the "hot thing" for very much longer.
