Any Old Kind of Day
Any Old Kind of Day (anyoldkindofday.com) was a MediaWiki-based wiki about singer-songwriter Harry Chapin and related subjects. It was created by Marty Acks (username: martyacks), a self-described fan of Harry Chapin and webmaster.
History
The website was created in 1998 by Marty Acks as a Harry Chapin tribute site. Until 2010 the website contained a masthead stating that "this is my unofficial Harry Chapin tribute site." The original site contained several hyperlinks to related websites about Harry Chapin, similar to a web ring. After 2010, the website was redirected to a MediaWiki wiki focused on Harry Chapin and his works. According to the main page of the wiki, "the website was in need of updating [and] a wiki style update was chosen to simplify editing, provide built in searching, and for overall modernization of the website."
The wiki contained information about Harry Chapin, his live events and albums that was not mentioned anywhere else online. Marty claims to have witnessed Harry's concerts, and the logo of the wiki is claimed to be a picture taken by Marty of one of Harry's performances. (The wiki logo of this site is the same image from anyoldkindofday.com; dwyd.org is named after a lyric from On the Road to Kingdom Come, "do what you do.")
Sometime after June 2022, a misconfiguration occurred in the host of the wiki and the main page has since forwarded to an error page. The database has likely been removed from the webserver, its credentials modified or has become corrupted in some manner. Because of this, pages on the wiki are no longer able to be viewed. As of November 2023, the website still displays an error page.
Other websites
The Harry Chapin Fan Pages was a web-ring and discussion board that went defunct by 2022. The original Marty Acks website (before the wiki) contained a list of links to other websites dedicated to Chapin, including the family-run website. An anti-hunger periodical called Circle! was issued from Spring 2003 through Summer 2006 (occurring every season of each year) and went mentioned on "harrychapin.com", a fan-made website which remains online to this day.

A user with the name "anyoldkindofday" made a new conversation on esoForum about the Harry Chapin wiki and posted the song lyrics to one of Chapin's songs. This is probably how Akefu Brewer developed in interest in Chapin's music.
