Totalfreedom.tf

TotalFreedom: Rebooted (also known as Total Faggots 2: Electric Boogaloo, abbreviated TF:R) was a failed reboot of the Total Freedom shitshow. It appears to have been founded by taahanus and VideoGameSmash12, among others, in an attempt to recollect all the community members of the original server for further grooming activities.

History

The original Total Freedom server was shut down by Wild Ryan after getting bullied into submission by Akefu Brewer, and in his usual self-centeredness, he has consistently refused to sell the original domain or give it away to other staff members. What ensued was the natural death of a community that was already on its last leg, but some former administrators (in accordance with their obsessive, autistic nature) felt the need to revive it on another domain, thus leading to this monstrosity.

Other than the community and use of false branding, this server has very little in common with the original one. The forum software is a shitty redesign of XenForo made to look similar to the even more shitty ProBoards. To give them credit, at least they did not stick with the WoltLab Dick-Stroking Suite. The plugins on the server itself are all different, and so there is not much legacy to be had with the original server.

Ryan's schtick resulted in the adoption of the totalfreedom.tf domain for this server.

Long-term ban system

Much like the policies of Total Freedom under the leadership of Ryan Wild, the new Total Freedom server implemented a long-term ban system, in which offending players were indefinitely banned from the server, some of which having no recourse in order to appeal the ban. As such, the server preserved the unique "total lack of freedom" policy that is incongruent with the name "Total Freedom." If you were banned on the previous server then would most likely have been immediately banned from the new one, which means that this server is slated to die within the next year or so.^{Foreshadowing much?} It has a smaller community than the last one, to think that even possible, and so it's not really notable enough to write an entire page about.

Rumor has it that Akefu Raider has picked up on the existence of this server and will soon correct that mistake with the power of his horse cock in due time.

Taahanus' stupid reasoning as to why the server is being shut down. It can be broken down into 3 elements: 1. The community isn't growing and new people aren't interested (despite that, if I don't like you, "get the fuck out of my server.") Beggars can't be choosers, retard. 2. Maintaining development for a creative freedom server is hard. Actually, maintaining all of the stupid rules you have put in place is hard, whereas an actual "creative freedom server" shouldn't have to worry about all those restrictions in the first place. 3. We actually have lives! LMFAO GOOD FUCKING JOKE

Decline and shutdown

From the start, it became obvious that the reason for Total Freedom's initial failure (or never-ending state of failure, depending on how you look at it) was brought upon by its poor excuse for an online community rather than anything else. This means that the idiotic behavior of Ryan Wild was a mere extension of the cesspool of autism that is Total Freedom. And so, it should not come as a surprise that the Rebooted server went down the exact same path.

Being highly populated with degenerate leftoids, this iteration of Total Freedom broke into several factions of "people" who had their own "opinions" about how the server should be operated. For example, here is a quote from Alco_RS11:

You say we have to "adapt to keep the bad actors out." We did that. And we failed. What nobody realizes is the bad actors are incredibly clever and some create entirely new identities and do elaborate things just to try and reintegrate into the community.

Maybe he's referencing something here, but I just can't pin it... (Warranted) mockery aside, Alco's glaring lack of intellect is demonstrated by this line of reasoning. Failure should have been the natural expectation of a scheme to keep the "bad actors" out, when those so-called actors are supposed to be determined by the rest of the community, thus promoting a cult of exclusivity in which anyone who doesn't agree with X must be related to Y. On several occasions, administrators would start randomly banning new players in order to prevent The Raids. By the time the server was Joever, not a semblance of actual freedom was left on it, and that, my friends, is how the Left eats itself.

Okay, retard. So, you made the mistake of asking what really happened to Total Freedom 2023. Prepare to have your ass blown away by lots of mental gymnastics and obfuscation. Do you think you can handle it, faggot?

• The server is so annoying to maintain. Developers are having to put hours into curbing the exploits which terrible hackers are constantly discovering. You see, it's very difficult to go into the server panel, delete the current binary, and upload the new one every two fucking weeks or so.
• Marketing is so difficult! It's immensely hard to go into a shitty Minecraft server listings page and click "bump" every now and then. Furthermore, you have no idea how much of a pain it is to set up Votifier, even though a 9 year old used to do it on the old server (yes, really). It's almost as if nobody wants to join a "freedom" server with an infinite set of rules which, by the way, the server owners do not care whether you actually break so long as they don't want you in their server. Why in the world would nobody want that?
• Our Executive team has lives. LOL, just fucking kidding. Many of our so-called "executives" are children that got promoted for sending n00dz to grown men on the server.
• The community just isn't changing! I have no idea why. It's almost as if we selectively removed everyone from the community that we don't like, and now we're just left with the remnants of a bucket that was once packed to-the-brim with autism.
